SVR meetings take place most months of the academic year at most of our academic partners and centres. They are a chance for Student Voice Reps to come together to share their fellow classmates' perspectives about the student experience, hear updates from HISA about its work, and develop ideas and suggestions together for the enhancement of learning.

SVR meeting dates
Below are currently scheduled meeting dates for December. If you're an SVR, please try to join your local SVR meeting which you should have been contacted about. If you can't make your local meeting, or your academic partner or centre is not listed, feel free to join one of the other meetings if the timing suits you. - UHI Orkney: Monday 8th (online): 1-1.30.
- UHI Argyll: Tuesday 9th (online): 10-11.30.
- UHI Inverness Tuesday 9th (in-person): 12-1.
- UHI North, West and Hebrides: Tuesday 9th (1-2) and Thursday 11th (4-5) (both online)
- UHI Shetland: Wednesday 10th (12.30-1) (online)
- UHI Perth: Wednesday 10th (12.30-1.30) (in-person)
- UHI Moray: Thursday 11th (12-1) (in-person)
- SAMS: Thursday 11th (2-3.30) (online)
We will have another round of meetings in early 2026 and we will post dates for these here once they are confirmed.
SVR meeting reports
HISA's teams across the UHI partnership run their local SVR meetings, and work with relevant academic partner management to share outcomes and ideas. Each round of meetings - plus discussion in our SVR Teams space - will look at a topic from the sparqs Student Learning Experience. This model is at the heart of Scotland's quality arrangements and we cover it in our training for SVRs.
We produce reports on our Student Learning Experience theme for each round of meetings, and we will add these reports to this section soon.
