UHI staff and students honoured in 2024 HISA Awards
Every year staff and students across the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) partnership are recognised for their exceptional contributions in the Highlands and Islands Students' Association (HISA) Awards. This year's awards highlight another incredible year of partnership between HISA and UHI.
The student-led awards celebrate staff and students who have gone above and beyond in their roles, providing inspiration and support to the UHI community. This initiative allows students to express their gratitude to those who have significantly impacted their educational journey.
A total of 656 nominations were received this year, recognising individuals for their excellence in learning, feedback, support, and inspirational roles. The winners of the 2024 HISA Awards are:

HISA Vice President Education, Shannon MacCallum, added, “The HISA Awards showcase the incredible efforts to enhance the educational experience and build strong communities across UHI. Tha dìcheall ar luchd-obrach air a mheas gu mòr le ar n-oileanaich, a’ dèanamh UHI mar aon de na h-àiteachan as riarachail airson ionnsachadh ann an Alba. Tha sinn air ar togail gu mòr mun ath bhliadhna acadaimigich!”
