We are delighted to announce that following our recent by-elections, we have elected a new Perth Depute President to service on our Student Officer team for 2026-27. Unfortunately, the candidate for NWH Depute President (West) was disqualified from the election and so there will be no-one elected to this position in this by-election.
Perth Depute President
The result was:
- Corben Bruce - 28 votes (increased to 30 after the transfer of other candidates' preferences)
- Lorraine Ross - 22 votes (increased to 23 after the transfer of other candidates' preferences)
- Millie Barr-McIvor - 9 votes
- Re-Open Nominations - 1 vote
- Disqualified Candidate - 0 votes
Corben Bruce has therefore been elected to the post of Perth Depute President. Congratulations Corben!

Corben will join our team of Student Officers elected in our March 2026 Student Elections and our earlier by-election, and will take up post on 1st July.
