Then go to our pinned post on social media, and comment where you would travel to in Scotland with a free Citylink explorer pass before 9am on Wednesday the 14th of May 2025. Comments will be entered into a prize draw and the winners will be chosen on Thursday the 15th of May.

Competition T&Cs
- By entering this competition, you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Entrants must follow @scottish_citylink and comment their answer to the question “Where would you travel in Scotland with a free Citylink Explorer Pass?” below the post on one of the following HISA social media channels:
- At the close of the competition, the winner will be contacted by a HISA representative from an official HISA social media account. The winner must provide a valid UHI student email address to confirm they are a current student, as well as a postal address to receive the prize.
- The prize is two 8-day Explorer passes, which offer eight days of unlimited travel over sixteen consecutive days on Citylink’s Scottish network.
- Entrants acknowledge that by entering this competition they are uploading a comment onto publicly available social media sites and other users of these sites will be able to see their comment.
- Employees of Scottish Citylink Coaches, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate.
- The Explorer pass is valid for unlimited travel on all Citylink routes in Scotland on the dates shown on the pass.
- The Explorer Pass is not valid on 923/924 (Glasgow-Stranraer-Belfast) or partner services sold via Citylink’s booking system.
- The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash or other alternative.
- Refunds cannot be given for the days when the pass is not used.
- Seat reservations are free for Explorer pass holders, subject to availability. Please book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
- The pass is not transferable, and the passenger must produce evidence of identity if requested.
- Scottish Citylink reserve the right to cancel any transaction and/or withdraw the pass if the full terms are not met.
- The winner will be selected at random by HISA. HISA’s decision will be final.
- Citylink and HISA shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' privacy settings or other security settings via the social media platform used to enter.
- If the selected winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours, is ineligible or fails to claim the prize within 5 days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
