About Us

Guided by the principles of faith, knowledge, and service, we provide a welcoming environment for students.

The UHI Islamic Society (ISoc) represents Muslim students across the University of the Highlands and Islands. Guided by the principles of faith, knowledge, and service, we provide a welcoming environment where students can strengthen their connection to Islam, pursue academic excellence, and form lasting friendships.
Operating under the supervision and guidance of Inverness Masjid / Inverness Islamic Community and Education Centre, our society serves as a bridge between the university and the local Muslim community.
We aim to support students' spiritual, social, and wellbeing needs while promoting mutual understanding and positive engagement within the wider Inverness community.

Vision
To nurture a confident, compassionate Muslim student community in the Highlands where faith, learning, and service flourish together.
