HISA and UHI are committed to supporting any student who has experienced gender-based or sexual violence,
regardless of gender, sex, or sexual orientation.
The Advice Service offers a safe and compassionate space where you will be believed and supported.
We can help you connect with the university, the police, or specialist organisations — or simply listen
as you process your experience. Your privacy matters to us: we will only share what you tell us with
your consent, unless there is serious concern for your safety or the safety of others.
UHI Support
UHI has trained a group of First Responders to support survivors of gender-based and sexual violence.
You can reach them through the UHI Online Disclosure Tool. Your information will remain confidential
