Natalia Hales

Deputy Manager- HR and Operations

Natalia is the Deputy Manager – HR & Operations at HISA and the organisation’s longest-serving employee. Natalia has worked in international corporations, public sector - embassies, ministries, and non-profits before joining HISA. She previously held roles as Regional Administrator and HR Coordinator, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting people and fostering positive change within the student community.

Originally from Poland, Natalia holds a BA in International Relations and Modern Diplomacy from Jagiellonian University and a Master’s in Political Science and Strategic Studies joint diploma from the University of Hull & Jagiellonian University. She has also completed a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management, further enhancing her expertise in HR and operations.

Natalia moved to Scotland seven years ago for love and has since made it her home.

In her free time, she enjoys true crime podcasts and books (or audiobooks), everything Harry Potter, and spending time in the kitchen testing her cooking skills on her fiancé. Cooking is her happy place, where she loves experimenting with new recipes and sharing her creations with loved ones.
