Amanda Fleet

Sports Consultant

Amanda Fleet is currently consulting on sports provision for HISA. As well as being a founder of UHI Varsity, Amanda has developed shinty at UHI and coordinated the team who won the Littlejohn Vase in 2024 and 2025.

She now works for Special Olympics and consults for HISA's sporting clubs.

Amanda plays a lot of sports herself outside of work including rugby, floorball, pickleball, running, climbing and equestrian sports. She has been picked to represent Scotland at floorball in the EuroGames the past two years in Switzerland and Austria and will be joining the team again for France 2025. She enjoys all outdoor activities and adventure sports. Amanda is Director of EDI on the Board of Scottish ClubSport, Director of EDI on the Board of HorseScotland, the LGBT+ Lead on the Scottish Student Sport Equality Steering Committee and a mentor on the Scottish Women in Sport/ SAMH leadership programme. She holds a degree in History from the University of Edinburgh and a masters in Museum Studies from the University of Glasgow.
