Inverness Depute President

Holly Pearce

Hello, I'm Holly Pearce, the Depute President of the Highlands, and Islands Students' Association at UHI Inverness. As well as being a student officer, I am also a full-time criminology student at Inverness. After I graduate, I want to work in law enforcement, but there are a lot of additional pursuits I can do with my degree. I have always struggled academically due to being hard of hearing, which is why I work as an advocate for other people and why I am a student officer.

As Depute President, my responsibilities include overseeing the Student Voice Representatives, organising, and publicising student events, and remaining reachable so that students may come to me with any concerns or enquiries they may have.

This year, I want to make sure that network students are able to participate as much as possible in their university experience, so they do not feel like they are being left out. I also want to help improve and enhance the accessibility on campus and on the VLE, or virtual learning environment, which is also known as Brightspace.

You can email Holly here.
