Student Groups

Clubs & Societies & Networks are groups that bring together students who share common interests. From fashion or accountancy to languages or politics, there are loads you can join and they meet regularly to socialise and share new experiences. Contact hisaactivities@uhi.ac.uk for more information.

  • Networks Networks are permanent student groups, with protected or underrepresented identity aspects that can impact their student experience. These groups are facilitated by staff from your Students' Association and focus on providing safe spaces for students to share experiences, plan activities, and advocate for their needs. Contact hisaactivities@uhi.ac.uk for more information.
  • Societies Societies are student groups focused around a shared interest, academic focus, identity or non-physical activity. They are run by committees composed of students.
  • Sports Clubs Sports Clubs are student groups that participate in physical activities including both competitive and non-competitive sports/athletic activity. They are run by committees composed of students, with specialist support from sports development staff. Contact hisaactivities@uhi.ac.uk for more information.
  • Committee Hub For Committees of our Clubs and Societies, you can find in here resources and our new Club and Society Handbook. Contact hisaactivities@uhi.ac.uk for more information.
