With the exams approaching (sorry for saying the 'e' word), we have rustled up a pile of little notebooks, pens, post-its, that sort of thing. They'll be available, for free, in the canteen (Cafe Camus).

Hop into Spring with a little bit of mystery and a whole lot of chocolate!

Whether you're heading to a lecture or grabbing lunch, keep your eyes peeled for something special hidden in plain sight. We’ve hidden special Easter trinkets all around the Thurso, Fort William, and Stornoway campuses. There are plenty of prizes to go around, but once the trinkets are gone, they’re gone! Put your detective hat on and see what you can find.

How to Play

Over the course of the week, we'll be hiding special Easter-themed trinkets all around your college campus.

Your mission is simple: Find a trinket!

Once you've successfully located a trinket, bring your finding to the local HISA office (or reception if we arn't in) on your campus to claim your reward. You'll get a well-deserved Easter treat!

Therapets at SAMS

We are overjoyed to be welcoming Archie the 4 year old labradoodle, and his person, Lyndsay, back to campus!

This time, however, there will be a second pooch for scootches!

Basil, Archie's little brother, has officially passed his Therapets assessment and will be joining us.

Archie is has been a Therapet for two years, and loves playing catch, eating cat biscuits, and having chest scratches.

Come along and have a play or a cuddle with them.

Pause for tea and crafts in the Webster on Wednesdays!

Try lots of different flavours of tea - black, green and caffeine-free fruit teas.
We will also have different crafts including cross stitch, origami or relax with some mindful colouring!

All teas and crafts are complimentary and there is no need to book, just drop in!

The 2026 OBI Awards ceremony takes place on 18 May 2026 in the Goodlyburn Theatre.

These awards celebrate the Outstanding, Best, and Inspiring students and staff who make a real difference within the UHI Perth community. This year has been our most succesful ever, with 545 nominations across 6 categories:

Outstanding Student Voice Representative

Staff Awards:

Outstanding Student Support

Feeling the exam pressure? Take a breather and recharge with some furry friends!

We know that exam season can be a bit overwhelming, and sometimes the best way to clear your head is to step away from the textbooks and spend some time with a friendly face (and a wagging tail).

Spending just a few minutes with a dog is a proven way to lower stress levels, reduce anxiety, and give your mood a much-needed boost. It’s the perfect, fluffy reset before your next study session!

Meet the Stars of the Show

We are incredibly excited to welcome two very special guests to Thurso Campus: Jarvis and Harvey!

These wonderful Therapets will be in the library for one hour only, ready for all the pets, scratches, and cuddles you can give. Whether you need a quick puppy-pick-me-up or just want to sit quietly with a calm companion, Jarvis and Harvey are here to help you de-stress.

Are you a UHI Argyll student?

Do you have opinions?

Do you want those opinions to be heard?

If you answered 'yes' then come along to our Round Table!

This will be an informal and safe space to share your thoughts on your year of study and learning.

We are going to be focusing on four main topics, but don't be shy! If there is anything you want to bring to the Round Table, then do. This is YOUR space and we want to hear YOUR voices!

Your HISA Moray President, Charlotte Usher, is running an exciting poetry project which all UHI Moray students are invited to contribute to. Come along to the Moray Street reception area anytime, and you'll see the HISA Poetry Booth table with a large piece of paper lying on it. Simply write onto the paper whatever is on your head in that moment! Once we have enough throughts from everyone, Charlotte will compile them all into a poetry collection which will be thought-provoking, hilarious, serious, silly, and ultimately all about the UHI Moray experience. You can also contribute to this in the Linkwood Campus on Mondays between 10.30-3.30pm, by coming along to Charlotte's HISA drop-in sessions in The Triangle.
