Join us for Wear It Green Day on Thursday 14 May during Mental Health Awareness Week (11-17 May 2026) – and let’s help turn the world green for good mental health!

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and normalise conversations about mental health. This event is organised by Mental Health Foundation, a UK charity solely focused on preventing poor mental health and building and protecting good mental health. You can find out more about them here.

HISA Colour Run at Diversity Day 2026 (21/05/2026, 13:00)

Come along and create a burst of colour on campus with HISA, at the UHI Moray's first ever Colour Run!

This event will be run by your HISA Moray team as part of the Diversity Day event on the 21st May, 2026. Colour Runs are popular all over the world; you turn up, grab a pot of vibrant powder paint, and when the run or walk starts you throw your paint up into the air, creating a beautiful rainbow cloud of colour.

Entry is free and you don't need to sign up, just turn up to the AGBC centre (near reception in Moray Street Campus) a little early so that you can grab your powder paint and line up for the start. This isn't a race and you don't really need to run - we'll just be doing a lap of the grassy area right outside the AGBC centre. Bring clothes that you don't mind getting messy - a change of clothes for afterwards would be a great idea! The paint is powdered so it will mostly brush off, and it's non-toxic and easily washable.

There will be free refreshments available from 12-2pm on the day, plus a Diversity showcase, a theatre performance, and a fencing session to try. Come and have some fun on campus, as we bring people together to recognise and appreciate the many cultures that exist in our community.

The 2026 OBI Awards ceremony takes place on 18 May 2026 in the Goodlyburn Theatre.

These awards celebrate the Outstanding, Best, and Inspiring students and staff who make a real difference within the UHI Perth community. This year has been our most succesful ever, with 545 nominations across 6 categories:

Student Awards:

Most Inspiring Student
Best Student Club or Society
Outstanding Student Voice Representative

Staff Awards:

Most Inspiring Lecturer
Best PAT
Outstanding Student Support

All of our nominees are invited to attend the ceremony. If you can't make it along, please join us online via our live stream. The link to join the live stream will be posted on our webpage shortly before the event starts.

Are you a UHI Argyll student?

Do you have opinions?

Do you want those opinions to be heard?

If you answered 'yes' then come along to our Round Table!

This will be an informal and safe space to share your thoughts on your year of study and learning.

We are going to be focusing on four main topics, but don't be shy! If there is anything you want to bring to the Round Table, then do. This is YOUR space and we want to hear YOUR voices!

Your HISA Moray President, Charlotte Usher, is running an exciting poetry project which all UHI Moray students are invited to contribute to. Come along to the Moray Street reception area anytime, and you'll see the HISA Poetry Booth table with a large piece of paper lying on it. Simply write onto the paper whatever is on your head in that moment! Once we have enough throughts from everyone, Charlotte will compile them all into a poetry collection which will be thought-provoking, hilarious, serious, silly, and ultimately all about the UHI Moray experience. You can also contribute to this in the Linkwood Campus on Mondays between 10.30-3.30pm, by coming along to Charlotte's HISA drop-in sessions in The Triangle.
